The barkpack should fit snugly without restricting movement. You should be able to fit two fingers between the straps and your dog's body.

If the barkpack shifts from side to side, rotates, or hangs away from your dog's body while walking, the straps may need to be adjusted.

Yes! We recommend letting your dog wear the barkpack empty at first so they can get used to the fit before carrying any items.
